Ide love to get a chance to ride one that is set up like yours. Do you do any curvy road riding at all with that setup? Im just curious how the bike handles with the extended swing arm and being lowered. Anyhow, very nice ride man.:thumbup Stoner 11-08-2003, 03:26 PM Spiderman, I am thinking about putting NOS on my bike and was curious as to what kind of system I would need for my bike considering it is a carbed bike. I know some of these guys around here are using a dryshot system on carbed bikes even thought it is not reccomended. How safe is this and would I really advantage from one? The bike still rides and handles well even though I havent really had it in any twisties since putting the swingarm on and lowering it. I am thinking about going with a Graves Stroker kit and having some headwork done before next year and trying to get a little more serious about drag racing. Dry kits on a non-fuel injected bikes is not good at all.. What happens in fuel injected bikes is the air temp sensor in the airbox recognizes changes in temp and sprays more fuel .... When you run one on a non fuel inj bike you'd have to richen the jets so much it'd ride like crap without spray.... The Nitrous Express system is the best kit for you. They just had a small price increase at NX the price for the kits is 645.00 Retail is $8++ something....
If you are going to do nitrous down the road a stroker kit and nitrous aren't a good (lasting) combo..... Piston life is not good with stroker and nos.... If you'd rather just do a stroker kit from Graves we sell that setup also... SpidermanSS 11-08-2003, 04:29 PM Originally posted by martinc

Get one like mine martin.... It's adjustable from stock to 6" over, you'd just need another chain and a bag of links to adjust it back and forth..... A speedlink lowering link and a strap tie down works well also... bobbybob 11-08-2003, 09:52 PM :hellobye Bet it rides REAL NICE !!!!  pbfaster 11-08-2003, 10:17 PM Looks like a blast:cool: Rand1 11-08-2003, 10:37 PM Nice setup. I am glad you are liking it. not to take away from stoner but i am glad to say that i did all the polshing and painting that happened on the bike. nice to see it every once and a while. the mirrors were painted with the factory paint when i painted my pocket bike the same color. they have held up very well. lots of hours and beer went in to polishing that bike. i sure miss her.:cryin chuck 12-02-2003, 07:26 AM i just noticed you havent takin off my old club felony sticker. that is me and my friends freindlt club name. i also see you stripped the black paint off of the sub frame. | |
