Did my first trackday at Texas World Speedway today. The weather sucked and it got called early but not before it "HOOKED" me like crack. Anyway, the organizers got us all together about 10am(after first sessions) and took a vote on calling it and crediting money towards next one. They still left the track open until 2 with all cornerworkers and emergency personnel. I would have to say that 95% of the riders packed it up, but I couldn't leave after only running a couple laps. I waited another 20 mins and the rain let up enough to go run for 2 hours on a pretty vacant track! I just took it nice and easy in the turns, nice smooth lines and then I would get to open up a little(120-140) on the high bank straight. What a great time, everybody was cool and helpful to each other, and I didn't even have to test out my sliders! Sorry about the long post, I just wanted to share my experience and thank those of you who have shared your trackday experiences with us. NOW I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU MEANT! Its been a long day, good night.

Glad you had a good day. Tracks are fun and racing is even better. Try to get some pics next time if you can.
