I was wondering if these are worth a crap. All the dealers in my area are trying to push them. I don't remember hearing or reading much about them. They do look kinda cool though.
Anyone have any opinions??

Anyone have any opinions?? r1wheeled 01-06-2004, 10:26 AM Seem to be, they made it on OEM Aprillias THE MUFFIN MAN 01-06-2004, 10:43 AM i have heard from a couple of guys that did track days withg them that they held up well. castrolr1 01-13-2004, 07:49 PM to hard for real aggressive riding... like a dunlop 207 R1Budha 01-25-2004, 02:20 PM They are pushing them because they can make more money on them due to a lack of internet competition.
Everything i have read has pointed them towards t he non-aggresive to slightly aggressive street rider.
The best comparison would be to the stock Dunlop 208's.
My preference would be to fit standard Pirelli Diablo's for that type of riding, however the Maxxis do appear to be less money. The dealers will be paying roughly 10-18% less for Maxxis than for Pirelli diablo's.
Hope that helps. | |
