Hey All,

Anyone know where i can get polished Aluminium cover plates to cover the part where the mirrors used to sit on the front fairing?
I'm trying to find places here in Aust. but no luck so far.....hope someone from tyre-fryers can help me out.

nah... I haven't found any for sale is oz budd...

Get some old R1 mirrors from wrecker, cut the mirror and stem from the base carefully and cleanly, carefully file away until base is smooth, clean and polish the base, voila...

There is a thread in the "how to" section on this...

If you are after some old R1 mirrors... I am going to be replacing mine soon.... just a few scratches on the front side. (Too close with the lane splitting!)

I'd kill for some old mirrors :)

Ive been hunting around for some bits and pieces aswell. Got in contact with Shane from McCoy motorsports(Spidermanss)and they ship over here to Australia. Prices are great,and the products:rock

plus the dollar is ripping now for us so the prices end up being really good..... give them a go...... i've heard really good reports from friends who have used them to......

I would consider gettin the holes plastic welded :) looks very nice :) dunno how much tho
