I'll be out of town for about a week and a half. but mostly I ride, the days I dont work. I work 3 days 12hr shift. so I am good to ride tuesday trough friday, and sat afternoons until 5pm. Maybe we could get few more guys on a friday nite, and make some noise? Let me know when ure' up for it. later dude:rock

Hye guys, I'm from Oxford orrigionaly. Currently I am stationed in Charleston, SC. I do go home some weeks, I was just wondering if I knew any of you guys from the area. Right now I am deployed but, once I get back to the states I will give you guys a hollar if I bring my bike home with me.

that rainy friday, I got a ticket for going 75 in 55 by wade ave. You gotta watch out around ESA man. But I am out of town this weekend but definitely let's get some folks together for some riding. I am up for friday after this weekend.:thumbup

We need to hook up earlier Sun. morning. Traffic get bad when you get to that two lane road leading to the track. I don't know what is close for everyone but let's post some locations. South Point Mall off of 40. That my suggestion.

Let's meet at 10 o'clock on Sunday morning at South Point Mall in Durham. I'm not sure what store to meet at b/c I've only been to the mall once and I'm not familiar with the location of the stores, so just ride around until you see some other bikes. We'll pull out around 10:30, which will give QuikMike time to arrive. We can all introduce ourselves and gas up while we are waiting.:yesnodLet me know if this isn't good for everyone. :D

There seems to be rain in the forecast for Sunday, so let's all cross our fingers and pray to the Yamaha gods that it'll be nice and dry.:eek:

yeah....I pray it doesn't rain on Sunday...there is a rain date on the website(www.ebonyangelsmc.com)...I think it is August 11th or something like that....

So is it a go? 10:00 South Point Mall. How many people are meeting? Might need to know this so we don't leave anyone. I guess we should check the weather for the triad area since it can rain in the triange and no where else.

Well guys, I guess the Yamaha gods didn't hear our prayers. I still showed up at South Point b/c it wasn't raining in Creedmoor on Sat. morning. It was very cloudy at South Point, but it wasn't raining there either. I waited for about an hour and a half, and I was calling Watson to see if it was still raining in Raleigh. After it stopped raining in Raleigh, Watson and I rode for a while, but we got tired of trying to avoid the rain, so we "called it a day" around 5 o'clock. The rally was rescheduled for Aug. 10th, but I got a family reunion to attend that day, so I can't go. We all still need to get together and ride one Sat. or Sun. I've got to work this weekend, but I'll be off the following weekend.:rock

yeah, when I went to church Sunday morning, it was really raining in Raleigh, so I just assumed that the rally was called off....although, it did clear up a tad later on, my spirits were dampened by the rain...oh well, I can't make it to the August 10th date either b/c I am in my cousin's wedding( exactly one week after my wedding!!! )...Me and a friend are trying though to ride up to VIR for the AMA races on the 11th though!!

If the weather is good on Friday nite, I am down for a spin with the big boyz!!!!

alright fellaz, we got 2 for friday nite. Last friday nite, I was out by gillians in raleigh, and it was happening. Lot of riders are hanging there. So we'll arrange a meeting place and stuff and get out there.:finger

I just found out that I won't have to work Saturday and Sunday night.:DUnfortunately, I still have to work Friday night, so I can't hang out at Jillian's.:( Maybe on Saturday or Sunday, if anyone is interested.

I am interviewing for a job in Rocky Mount tomorrow, wondering if there are any dragstrips over in that area?

There is a dragstrip called Brewer's Dragway somewhere near Rocky Mount. That's the only one that I know about. It's kind of a "country" track (not as nice as Piedmont). Are you going to Rockingham for the Schnitz Summer Sizzler this weekend? If so, I'll see ya' there.:rock
