OutlawR6 01-11-2004, 07:48 PM Alright, so how did you guys get over the fear of bringing up the front tire? I been trying them in 1st gear and finaly today forced myself to keep my feet on the pegs for the 2 sec. that my wheel actualy leaves ground.. I want it to come up and stay there but i kinda panic and drop the trottle when it happens. :crash
bluer101 01-11-2004, 07:50 PM Don't worry, I'm in the same boat.:fact

slutty 01-11-2004, 08:31 PM Sweet I used to ride 250 class...........yz 250 a few years back....ooohhh what a work out that was. pretty much street now. I still have my motocross bike and putt around every now and again but dont take it to any trakes...dayum I miss those days.
OutlawR6 01-11-2004, 08:39 PM well i wanted to get a street bike but my parents said no way to that one.. at least i've got something to start with
and i know what you mean about a work out, my arms were sore for 3 days after last weekend :lol
slutty 01-11-2004, 08:44 PM very smart move.... thats where I started.... you wont regret it in the long run....do they have any good dirt tracks in Fl.
OutlawR6 01-11-2004, 09:20 PM havn't been looking around to much, but i know theres one in Dania about 5 min from my work. i've been trying to work on controling the bike better before going out on a track

well, it is trying to control it right? just in a little different way :lol after watching Jason putt around on his rear wheel for half the day on his 100, he just made it look so damn easy..
yamahog 01-13-2004, 04:18 PM practice and time. Your fear is causing you to let the front end down. The balance point on a dirt bike is pretty high up there. Just keep trying and you will continue to get better. I have no problem on the dirt, it's when I get on the street that I loose my nuts! I am going to the family in the dirt again soon, I'll let you know when and where. Believe it or not my boys are pretty good teachers.
OutlawR6 01-13-2004, 06:51 PM cool, sounds like fun :thumbup where do you guys normaly go?
yamahog 01-13-2004, 07:10 PM we used to go up to WPB, but I think that riding area has issues right now. My brother went to naples last weekend and said it was awesome.
OutlawR6 01-13-2004, 07:25 PM i may have to get better wheels for my trailer to go that far..

i may have to get better wheels for my trailer to go that far.. is the trailor brand new? If so then why would you have to get better ones.
OutlawR6 01-14-2004, 06:58 PM cause there small.. i don't like to do more then 45 mph because of that. after thinking about it, i'll probibly just rent one of those u-haul pickups for the drive :)

It's goes right into the hitch on you car and you just tie you bike down on it. Then you have no trailor.. Just a thought.
Aron213 ti 01-15-2004, 05:16 PM besides Air Dania, there is a new track located out on Snake Rd., where Big Billy's Swap Safia is.

elegalr1der 01-16-2004, 11:41 AM Throttle control! when the front end comes up, your gonna have to close it up a bit so you dont loop, then you gotta try and keep it steady. Take your time though.

FATBASTARD 01-30-2004, 11:55 AM For doing a wheelie on a motocross its easier to do a rolling one 3rd gear ease off the throttle the whack it right back , it will come up a lot smoother and controled ,1st and 2nd gear is a bit severe for learning with, you could flip it then you wont have no balls at all .

Dave33014 01-30-2004, 04:24 PM I might as well jump in here, cant say I can help the wheelie situation, I havent been into dirt long, but I just moved back down from Detroit and need to find some place to ride dirt. Ive noticed you guys ride on sundays and would like to at least get out and burn some fuel if you guys have a local place to ride. Keep me posted.

OutlawR6 01-30-2004, 04:46 PM you got a PM dave :riding
DannyC188 01-31-2004, 10:21 PM I would love to get back into riding my CR 250 I did alot of racing when I was younger but in the last few years the bike has been only been out a few times and otherwise sitting collecting dust in the storage unit. No place to ride here in south Florida.
I used to go to homestead and mess around on that small track because I know I'm too rusty to play with the big boys at Dania.

Do a yahoo search " trailer hitch lift" you will find a lot of comapanies that make them
Most of them require a class 3 or 4 hitch

Do a search for a compay called Moto Tote.
Danny is right, all I have seen require serious hitch assembly.
