I have a race RS-3 carbon fiber bolt-on on my ZX-9R, and it sounds totally sweet...

I have the titanium rs3 oval on my 03 silver r1 and I love it. Personally I think the oval shape looks better on an r1 than the tri oval, but that is just my preferance. It has a nice deep tone to it at idle, but since it is still just a slip on and not the full system it does not sound too great when you rev it up at a stop. but when you are cruising you can definetly tell when the exup valve is full open. def. worth the money I spent on it.

I have the titanium tri-oval on my 03 R1 and it sounds great. I get complements on it from fellow bikers all the time. It sound good at low RPM's, but once you start to hit the higher RPM's it just screams. I think it basically comes down to what you think looks better...tri or oval.

RS3 Oval deeper sound haven't campared proformance....

From my own experience, I found the Tri-Oval sounds better and more solid. But mind you that I have them on different bikes. I had the RS3 Oval Race Stainless on a '99 CBR600F4 and the TRS Race Carbon on a 'OO/'O1 GSX-R750. The TRS has a lower pitch sound and it's much louder somehow on the 750. However, I also heard the RS3 Oval Race on a Gix1K, the sound is not as solid as the TRS. :)
