Just want to see if anyone else is like this. I feel that bouncing the bike to a stand-up in second seems easier for me. anyone else think standups are easier than sit-downs?

I was doing stand-ups and sitdowns last night fartin' around on the highway. For me, it's easier to clutch up my sitdowns, as opposed to on-off-on the throttle. On the other hand, I find it easier to bounce up my stand-ups, as opposed to using the clutch. Weird huh?

I did standups only (pretty much) on my CBR90RR... but now when I can do sit downs on the R1 in any gear (1-4, beginning in these gears) I'm much more comfortable doing them sitting down.

Standups tend to become wind-catchers and the wheelie can get really OFF due to the wind catching the bike and You.

This can make the landings quite dangerous.

Very true swedie, i noticed that while doing standups the back wheel will get a little more shaky. For me balancing them standing up seems allot easier since you can move you butt in and out along with throttle modulation's to help balance it smoother. Cool, looks like i'm not alone. I haven't shifting standing up yet, anyone got that down yet?

Thanks
