Ohlins Steering Damper

Hey Everyone, I'm looking for some advice. I may have an opportunity to get a used Ohlins steering damper. The only problem is that it's from a 2001 R1 and I have a 2003 R1. Does anyone know if it would fit an '03? Thanks :riding

mount would be different i believe. but the actual damper would be the same.

Get a 02-03 mount

yup you would need an 02-03 mount for it but the dampener is the same

Do you have to drill holes in the frame for the 03 mounts ?
