I run full ohlins suspension on my busa (forks, shock, damper.) Is it as good on the r1? I don't know how much you can improve... I know, i know, after riding the bus anything feels nimble, but i'm willing to try if it works.

If not ohlins, does anyone have experience with penske or race-tech?

I have full ohlins on my 02 and would never switch back to stock(even though stock suspension is good). George. How much were your wheels and how much lighter than stock are they?

To tell you the truth,I can't feel any difference when it comes to the wheels......They're a couple/three pounds lighter each ...It might be that I did all the mods at once, including new tires. It's probably that I don't ride it fast enough ?:dunno I paid $1300 for the set.In any case they look cool and they're stronger than stock . Your bike is sweet...................:rock :beer :thumbup

I have reworked Ohlins on both ends (mainly due to the fact that I was due to service both of them and well, while they were opened and off the bike...) Diff. is amazingly more adjustable and compliant at the same time for much more suspension. Why?

Just a shim re-stack and fresh oil to suit my weight (and springs) by Stadium Suspensions up here. I may go with the SBK internals one of these days, when I ran out of mods (which should be pretty son). :lol
