okay, I have a few cars for sale....
1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse, its got 110K miles, i have owned it since new. I have always kept up with maintenance, lots of brakes, lots of oil changes, and major service would include recent clutch, and timing belt. those two services alone clocked in around 800 bucks. it is a 2 door hardtop no frills, it has a nice alpine cd player and ice cold air, the necessities :) Right now, it does have a head gasket leak, I was getting ready to have it fixed, and decided to try to put it up for sale first. When i had the car at the mechanic last time, he noticed the small leak on the trans side of the motor and let me know that he would do it for about 500 bucks. I was looking for 4200 for the car, but if you buy it before i do the head gasket, ill sell it for 3500 bucks.
the jeep is a 6 cyl 5 spd, has a hard top and full doors. It is a project that I started last year that never got finished. I have alot of money tied up in this thing, whoever gets it will be getting a good deal. I bought the jeep totally F@##$d up for 3000 bucks, it didnt run, and when i got it running, it wouldn shift. i put about 700 bucks in parts into the motor, including a $350 weber carb setup, and i also installed a clutch, what a labor of love that was :) anyways, heres the good stuff....i have a new driverside fender for it, a new windshield frame, and that about taes care of the body, alittle surface rust on the tub, its actually in great shape. i have a $2000 Rubicon Express 4.5 inch extreme duty lift kit on it, its never even drove out of my driveway. this is the best top of the line lift you can get for this rig, without going to coil springs. i have a new double shock steering damper for it, a Tom Woods driveshaft and slip yoke elimiator kit that cost me over 550 bucks, a set of 4.11 gears for the rear, a big gear carrier, a posi lok manual shift cable unit, a locking rear differential (not an expensive one, but one that will do the trick) i have aluminum 15x10 outlaw 2 rims with 35 inch BFGs on them, and im sure im leaving off more than i have listed here. i have over 8K invested in this project, i am looking for 5500 bucks....please come and see it , if you are a 4wd kinda guy (or girl) you will love this thing....to be very honest, if i was going to keep it, i would hang the rest of the stuff on it that i have, and order a rebuilt trans, and pull the motor and rebuild it in my garage....then it would be a very reliable ride
I have a 1989 GMC suburban. almost everything works, i used it to haul bikes out to deals gap, no problems...its got a posi rearend, which is practically like 4wd in a heavy truck like this, its got about 140K miles, is Super dependable. its got dual heat and air, but the rear heater core is disconnected, never needed it ,so i didnt look into it...but i did have the air all charged up, and it works great. power everything. its got a 350 in it, good power, trans shifts great. i but 1700 in parts into this thing last year, it was my family hauler...even tho it looks like hell, i am very particular about keeping my cars running and driving perfect. i have replaced almost every suspension part on this truck, the list is truely too extensive to list. what it really needs is some rocker panels and a few doors. oh hell ,heres some of what it has....it has late model factory alloys, new tires, all new ball joints, lots of new steering linkage, new shocks front and rear, new front springs, 1 ton rear springs, new rotors, bearings ,seals, new pads, and i believe i installed new calipers as well. i also installed new drums, shoes, and all new hardware, new axle bearings and seals, serviced the posi, about 10 feet of new brake line. new wheel cylinders. the truck has a new radiator, new hoses and belt, oil changes and reg tune iups....new fuel pump...im sure im leaving some stuff out...anyways, you get the picture, ok body and great mechanicals, im looking for 2200 bucks..this would make someone an awesome work truck...(i do have a 3rd bench in it)
let me know if you are interested, or know someone who is interested. to get hold of me, email or call, i will not respond to posts...
