Alrighty, i thought i'd be cool this year and buy the rear R1 Lazer cut YSF R1 wave rotor.......ok great idea i bought one on ebay for $110 to my door.....it came and it fit my bike perfectly, ok so i go to put the rear wheel back on and BAM it hits me.....the damn thing is 1/2 an inch bigger diameter than the stock 03 rotor and the caliper bracket isn't tall enough for it and it hits the caliper.........so needless to say I must be retarded or someone is trying to just make a buck on ebay and sends the wrong stuff..... But I have noticed on www.schnitzracing.com that there are 2 different rotors for different years....they look the same but i'm wondering it the 00-01 R1's took a bigger rotor than the 02-03 R1's? Whats your thoughts?

According to the Yamaha-motor.com website, the rear brake rotors on 2001 (and older) YZF-R1s were 245mm in diameter. The 2002 to present models are 220mm in diameter.
