Barber Roll Call for March 27th

Who all from the Venom Squadron is gonna be there? I will be there, and also at Road Atlanta on May 22nd. I know there are gonna be several guys at Barber and Road Atlanta from the forum. Just copy and paste and add your name. Gawarrior ----Chad (Barber 3-27, RA 5/22)

I cant take time off for barber but I cant try to go to RA... Where are we planning to stay at?

I think some of us are gonna camp at the track the night before at RA. I am pretty sure me and BKR1 are gonna do that. My house is about 1 hour from the track, so I may be staying at home.

Damn... I cant go camp and ride the bike down there... I can always leave the bike and drive down

I'll be at Barber on 3/26 and Road A on the 22nd. Riding the priller on Friday and maybe the R1 at Road A. Will see.

My buddy is doing the intro class, but he broke his pinky finger this weekend so he may not make it. I am riding saturday so if he goes friday I will tag along with him since it is his first time. Yea , RA , by then I wont be near as broke , I cant wait , I might even get me a new set of Corsa's while we are there ! I will miss Barber , but RA will be awesome !:thumbup

Yeah, I can't wait until RA too. I live 1.5 hours from there and never even been there. Can't wait to do that trackday.

I just joined Venom and Looking forward to talking with some fellow Venom members. I will be trying to get down to RA this year. Maybe I can hook up with y"all.

GAWARRIOR, Sorry, I missed the chance to chat with you at Barber. I love my R1 so much better than the R6 I had run before. The ONE is so stable and smooth, the only problem I had was with the Super Corsas (seemed like everyone was shredding them) and a potentially warped rotor on one set of wheels. I finally adjusted the tire pressure to 32/34 instead of the recommended 31/30, lessened the rebound damping on the rear and that issue cleared up. On Saturday, I ran the Dragon Slicks (red dot-soft) and they were gorgeous. Had it not been for the chatter under braking, I'm certain I could have pulled off a 1:41. I'm toying with the idea of running Road A. Hope to catch up to you there.:hellobye

Cool. Let me know if you do RA. We could make sure we meet up. I was running the SC's also. But it was my first time on them. I liked them alot, but they did seem to shred a bit.
