Where are the Ohio Riders at?????

:cool: I am newer to this board but not to riding. We all know that the sunshine is on it's way even though we just got more snow, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I was wondering which members are in the Ohio area so we can put together a ride? Ohio Role Call............ -Daddys R1

I am from the columbus area but, I live in Marion now. Thanks for replying to the post I am hoping there are a decent amount of people in our area that ride. Is concord close? Do you ride in this area.

Concord is right by Mentor and Chardon... There is few members from Ohio on this board. I usually ride with Tezzmin from here. He lives right next to me. We have a nice little group and we sometimes hit south to get some twisties. This year, we will do some trackdays...

It would be nice to get together sometime if you guys are in the area. My friends and I head to Hocking Hills to hit some twisties. Fun area to ride.

THIS Ohio rider moved to Atlanta so he could ride more! ;-)

I think we went there before....we did route 26 I think, 800 and some other roads in that area...it sucked sometimes because we would have more people that we didn't ride with before and there would always be a crash which would screw all day up. Now there is me, tezzmin, biglipps66 (he doesn't post much here but he just bought 02 R1 from a member) and other friend that rides with us (brunswickbomber - doesn't post much either) We usually would hit south for some roads, go to Thompson to hit 1/4 mile sometiems, hang out, go out to the valley in Akron and chill out... This year we plan on doing track days and racing school. Possibly in Nelson Ledges but that is not for sure yet... we might end up in Mid-Ohio...but we will definitaly ride a lot this year... We have a cool group... we all know how we ride and noone is trying to outrun the other guy... Where is Marion??

I am on the west side of Cleveland. My girlfriend and I go south on rt. 83 to the Coshocton area a lot (she riders her own bike). We also do at least one overnight trip down 555 and 800 a year. I wouldn't mind hooking up for a few rides if it ever stops snowing! eddie

Yeah that does sound like fun. Marion is 20 miles north of Columbus on Rt.23. We goto Mid-Ohio every year. I am about 30 minutes from Mid Ohio.

I and a few friends live in or within an hour or so of Cbus. I went to OU and road the Hocking Hills on a daily basis in the warm season and LOVE to go back. I am all about some track days at Nelson and Mid-Ohio, if you guys decide to do track days, let us know and maybe we can get together. Justin

Justin, We will for sure do nelsons this year....I am planning to hit FastTraxx racing school but they raised their price to 275 :bs this year. It still would be awesome! My buddy did it last year and he loved it. His insurance droped too because they give you certificate and you can show it to your insurance company for a discount.

That sounds like a plan here too. For sure we will goto Mid Ohio and odds are end up at Nelsons.....I would like too set up a ride into Hocking-Hills in the warmer season for sure.

I think we went to Hocking Hills with our group one time...Isn't it route 800 around there somewhere? We had one crash there ...

We will be doing a Mid Ohio track day sometime before the AMA weekend (probably with STT). Let me know if anyone else goes. They put on a pretty good track day, plus they only charge women $75 for the day so it works out good for us. (my girlfriend was supposed to be a instructor for them last year but our schedules never worked out). krazyskillz - we should hook up - I live right down the road in North Ridgeville. eddie

We are riding to Mid Ohio Sat and Sun if the weather isn't too bad. I would like to hook up - my girlfriend hasn't been able to ride since high-siding herself 8 feet in the air at Putnam a few weeks ago, so we haven’t ridden much more then to Quaker Steak, work and school the last few weeks. eddie
