Android 04-04-2004, 09:43 AM Just so you all know...... state farm insures motorcycles based on cc's rather than type... so if you have an R1 you will pay the same insurance as someone with a 1000ish cc touring or cruiser. Of course the standard factors are included like age, tickets, accidents and location...... You will also get a nice discount if you insure your car or house through them as well (which I do). The longer you are with them the better too.... my overall insurance drops an average of 10-15% every year that I'm with them.
I have no accidents, no tickets and at 28 yo I pay $33 a month for my 2004 R1, of course living in Oklahoma City helps as well.
As far as I know all state farm agencies have the same policy, I have been with 3 different agencies in three states over the years and the policy has always been to insure the engine size rather than the type of bike. | |
