I am in San Diego and was hoping somebody could maybe show me around on Monday. My friend said he couldn't and didn't want to send me off on those roads by myself. Or if nobody can show me, maybe some directions on how to get there. Thanks.

ahh, too bad, i was down in telegraph today.
Basically take the 805 south to telegraph canyon road. Exit on telegraph canyon road and head east. Just follow the road for a few miles and then it will lead you right into the canyon.
I am assuming you are coming from somewhere north of that exit.

Well I'll be headin over that way now in about a half hour. Wave if you see me, I'll be on a "limited edition" black and red R1. Thanks for the directions. First time on these roads and first time on these R1's.

Dude be careful some of the corners have a tighter radius as you get further into the turns.
Also when you get the end of Telegraph, take a left and go out towards Potrero. Its a beautiful ride and if you pass the Border Patrol check point then you know you wen t the right way.

CAMPO – A motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries last night when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver, who later surrendered at the Golden Acorn Casino, authorities said.
The name of the victim was not immediately available.
The collision occurred on state Route 94 about 8:10 p.m. Border Patrol agents who were the first to reach the crash site told the California Highway Patrol that a dark sedan had struck the motorcyclist and left, heading west.
The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene 30 to 40 minutes later, the CHP said.
About 9:30 p.m., a man went to the employee entrance at Golden Acorn Casino off Interstate 8 and surrendered to the security staff, said CHP Officer Larry Landeros. The man's name was not available last night.
