I just ordered a set of leathers from the motorcycle accessory warehouse. They looked pretty tight when I saw them in person and I really want a one piece to take over from the two piece I have. The set is only running me 568.00 which is very reasonable seeing as I've seen the same set for 700.00 elsewhere. I'll post a pic of the suit . They only had the yellow but the actuall suit I ordered is the same just replace everything you see in yellow with blue.

I bought my leathers from MAW... was very pleased with their service. I had to pay return shipping when the first set were too big, but I still saved money.

What brand/model are the ones you're buying?

New leathers are :boobies I've got 4 sets, but unfortunately they've all been crashed in at the track:p 1 set of old custom Langlitz leathers, a set of Kushitani GP pros, and 2 sets of Spidi's. I made the error of taking my new blue Spidi Raptor's ( EVERYTHING matched the bike:cool: ), thinking that since it was only doing a novice school that the pace wouldn't be hot ( or my tires as it turned out;) ), and I wadded my new stuff:( On the up note, the suit did the job.
Enjoy the new suit:thumbup

Pretty good folk too, I met them at Daytona during bike week. I ordered the Arlen Ness Flow suit. That's the best value for 568 I've seen out there. Champ thanks

Tommy --

I took a look at the Arlen Ness website... they only list their cruiser stuff, so there's no detail on the leathers. Can you provide more info on the suit?

I've really liked my AVGs the last couple of years... especially today, when I lowsided and scarfed them up a bit  and am considering another set from them. They also have lots under $500.

I went for a long ride on Saturday. 700 miles round trip easy. It was freakin hot outside too. I have a set of Joe Rocket Speedmasters, perforated 1 piece.

Let me say is you dont have perf leather, it helps bigtime. My 2 piece leathers were so very hot. DOnt get me wrong, standing still on a break I was roasting, but once moving again, I could feel all the air pushing through the suit. It felt great.

Good choice on getting the suit. Will save your butt in a pinch for sure:thumbup

My two piece is perforated but no match for the Florida sun. Last time out I must've sweated at least 5lbs off and I got mad cramps on the way home. The hamstring kind that make you stick both of your legs straight out. Some guy in a Viper pulls up next to me at a light and said " I know you've gotta be hot. " I was like " I am but if it goes downhill at least I'll leave with all the skin I brought with me.". Actually I already have 2 two pieces and I just wanted the one piece for vanity reasons. I could'nt go with the upper level brands because I could'nt justify it to the :boobies , I'm about to get a house soon and I've been blasting away at the bank account. Alpinestars Bayliss suit equals new bed, 568 equals money I'd piss away regardless of :boobies restrictions .
