NY2NJ 04-15-2004, 04:23 AM They are both good. Use the search function and you will find a lot of threads on this topic. QuicksilveR1 04-15-2004, 04:45 AM I have the Ohlins with the Ohlins mount. I find it very easy to adjust while riding. The quality is top notch. Scotts is actually made by Ohlins though. Pretty much what all the discussions have come to is this: Either you want a rotary style stabilizer or you don't. It's just a matter of preference of style. They both function great. Whichever you choose you can't lose! magnuspater 04-19-2004, 12:55 PM Originally posted by QuicksilveR1

i agree. i got the ohlins damper because i think it looks better. they are the kings of suspension after all... bradsr1 04-22-2004, 05:31 PM I prefer the scotts, I had an ohlins on my 2 previous R1s and I decided to try the scotts on my '03 and they do perform about the same but I like the scotts better cycloneX 05-16-2004, 02:56 PM Is Scotts makin a damper for the 04 R1 yet?? X. Young Will 06-02-2004, 11:29 PM i picked up the Ohlins. great price for the 2004 r1. ive had scotts on my r6. worked really good. ive been told that the difference between the two, the scotts must pick up the vibrations Right when it happens, wont kick in & save you. the Ohlins will adjust During any vibrations
