Looks like someone has some NOS on their brand new CBR

LMAO....

Anyhoo. There was a guy at Gainesville last night making license passes on his 2004 R1. Bike was strapped, and looked stock (exhaust), may have had sprocket change. Never saw his last two runs, just the 4 moderate passes. He has major wheelie issues... but he did run 9.90 @ 143mph two weeks prior.

I got the info second hand, but I did know you got kicked off the track that night.

9sec ZX7... hmmm.... This the ZX7 with the superbike Mike big bore ?

If so, I'm the guy with the green 12R you met at Gainesville that Saturday back in Jan or Feb (can't remember which day).

*I tried to register on here last month but no one has approved anything yet so I'm on my GF's account*

Hey Matt
Yes I do vaguely remember your name and bike (advanced stages of alzheimers sorry) Yes, I also have the SBM Green Kawi But , it does not do 9.00s I will change that at my avatar.did not mean to mislead. In the nines should read But i"ll just leave that off.

Warning anybody thinking of dealing with superbike mike.
Takes nine months to get a motor that is not right , Over a year to get valve springs, and swingarms well he has had that over Two months so maybe he just keeps those. I have some major issues with that shop.

Stick with Mc"coy and graves and some larger shops. they care and they are much better run, than superbike mike.
Schnitz, Ape, Track Dynamic"s
Spencer cycle..Mps, Pingel,so on.

Hope we meet again Matt, good luck with your machine
