Got the 520 conversion chain with after market sprockets for the rear and front. Kept the stock (16) in front and went up 2 teeth (45) in the rear. Anyone running this set up, and what do you think the results will be. I top out at 181 mph on odometer right now. Any info would be welcomed. (JUST curious) Thanks

I WENT UP TWO ON THE BACK AS WELL AND HAD IT DYNOED W/ DEVIL HIGH MOUNT, POWER COMMANDER AT 168 MPH TRUE ROAD SPEED. I DO HAVE TO SAY THIS THOUGH, I'VE GOT MID-RANGE LIKE YOU CAN'T BELIEVE.

Man, there must be something wrong with my bike then. i have a 45 tooth rear and she still struggles to power up in second. all i have is the devi c/f highmount slip on. could it be that i'm running really lean in the lower rpm's?

running lean = more HP have you messed with your rear suspension? if you have stiffened it up then it's not going to squat as much thus making it harder to wheelie. stock they are faily mushy so pretty easy to toss the front up. (even though i am too pussy to get it more then a couple feet high)

Yes, I did stiffen up the rear suspension. I figured since it was stiffer, it wouldn't squat as much transfering the energy to pulling up the front end. I guess I'll play with the suspension then. Thanks Tuc.

I have the same set up and it comes up when ever I want it to...the trick is give it a little tug like you would when you are trying to wheelie on a bikecycle..and a much hard tug on third and it will come up nice and easliy

Okay, I haven't felt the need for a sprocket job. But I can't do a 3rd gear (even with clutch) wheelie. I'm thinking my clutch might be fading or is it really tough to bring it up on 3rd running stock?
