I would be interested in doing a Saturday Ride..Sundays are tough for me..

beafer [hero],gee thanks. let me know when you get a bike, well do an ironbutt run. like 5-600 mi or more if you like. maybe a run to daytona for lunch and back. silver03r-1 cookinman, sat works for me, i usually take sr80 to ft myers then south on 75 to naples then the alley to lauderdale, tpk north to palm bch. since im in boynton bch. i could reverse it since your south. let me know. i see that lilr is setting up a lake run, i might get in on that. but i dont like it much because its to slow and mostly two lanes. not many places to haul ass. silver03r-1

Mad Troy - I live right around the corner from there and a couple hour ride sounds like the ticket. The lake ride is about 250 miles for me and it is more than enough. We have a B-Day party Sat. evening in Palm Beach, so who knows how hung over I will be, but if I am going to go then I will be there at 8:00am prompt. If I am not there don't wait for me because I am probably still sleeping. Silver - That is quite a hall, probably even a little too much for me. The 250 mile lake ride had my ass sore the next day. :2bitchsla me, I just realized I am a week late. I did subscribe to the thread so I will keep an eye out to see when you guys are riding again. :thumbup

yamahog, funny you should reply and open this again cause i was going to do it. well last week we didnt get anyone else to show up but are regular group so well see what happens this week. yes the lake run is just a little bit to much for me and my ass. last week we went out to some small town called south bay that reminded me of the movie jeepers creepers, i thought we wouldnt get out. we didnt go into the town to deep though, we couldnt even find a place for breakfast but it was fun. well anyone up for the run this week its on again, i will be at the shell at 8:00 am so the more the better.

I'll see what happens tomm. night with the party we are going to so like I said this week for last week (you know what I mean) if I am there, we'll ride, but if not don't wait for me. Cookin has ridden with a group that eats up at Robbies in Clewiston on the weekends. How many people usually ride? If you guys are down at fudds tonight, stop by the entrance on the North side by the little fudds sign, that is where the forum group usually hangs out.

Not this long ass ride again. The last one we went on was good enough for me. Maybe it was just the long ride back by myself. Those guys we road with were pretty cool though, all humble. Maybe... I will make it this Sunday...

I am not sure if this is the same group that you rode with. I think you rode with gummo and his crew. Troy is up by us in Coconut Creek. I could however be mistaken. Cook I thought sunday AM was good for you.

You (unfortunately ) got the most boring part of the ride done ( then turned around and went back ) so you did it twice.... The ride around the lake is longer, and there are sme rods with tight turns off the main drag....Kinda Cool Stuff, but be careful....I almost bought it up there last time after you left....Took one a little too hot... thank God for my R-! !!!! Superior handling and not loosing my cool helped me ti live to ride another day !!! Actually it is pretty cool to go there, ride some back roads ( with Caution ) and take Snake road back through Seminole Reservation to &% and then south to 595. We will have to go and do it one day when we are planning to be home by like 2 or so...

Well, Yama / Cook.. I really have no schedule this weekend. Play it by ear. I'm always a little edgy on unfamiliar terrain, but I guess it builds character ...

On a serious note, If I did not get the whip every now and again, I would not be nearly the person I am today....I ( like most men ) are given slighly to excess.....So balance is definately a necessary thing that I do depend on Mrs Cookin for..
