Tube mirrors

Has anyone seen the small mirrors made by ST Machine? They look bad ass but i havn't seen them around. They have an advertisement in cycle world. check the sight www.stmachine.com if anyone has any input let me know. Thanks

I have seen them, but they don't do it for me personally. Obviously a quality item, but not my style.

Nothing against anybody....Not my taste.

I have seen them on a GSXR-1000. They looked real good on the Suzuki, but I don't think look right on an R1. Also, I don't know if you can see anything out of them.

I am ordering them today, they realy look great. I spoke to someone at ST and he assured me you can see well out of them, not as good as the huge horible stock mirrors, but pretty well because they use a 3 inch convex mirror. i will let you know!

i got them friday, awsome!! I never had so many compliments as i got this weekend. The guys at ST Machine also came out with a new sidemount chaingaurd for the r-1, you guys need to check it out .

remove your stock mirrors and see if your bike goes faster. its not an opinion, its a fact, those stock dumbo ears put more drag on your bike period. any piece you replace on your bike with a lighter or more aerodynamc part will make the bike faster top end unless you still have your electronic limiter on it. My R-1 would show 182 on the speedo, i replaced the mirrors and mow its not rare for me to see 187. Thats indicated, probably not acurate but its still an increase!!

:rock I called them they said friday they should have them for the 04 R1. I think the mirrors are bad ass!

I am sure rider position effects aerodynamics more then stock mirrors. My original statement was referring to your new mirrors adding 10-15 ponies mentality.

I would have to see them (in person) on a bike, to tell if I like them or not

Bobby, I am interested in what you stated about the electronic limiter. Is that the case for the 2004R1? Is there a way to disengage that? I've never heard anyone talk about it and I'm curious. I was runnuing with some guys the other day and I got my '04 up to 145 mph. When I came down to about 70, so they could catch up the beak just shut down. Could this be the cause? I was only at 145 not 185. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
