I was watching the jerez race yesterday I recorded on video, and xaus crashed after what 3-4 laps? And he crashed out on the first race in africa too after only 10 laps or under. I mean, i KNOW this guy always crashed in WSB, but sheesh, can't he at least finish a race? Sorry, I just had to vent. At least I could putt putt the bike around and finish the race hehe

I think he needs more saddle time on that 999. We're not in Kansas anymore.....

I really think it might have something to do with his size.....he's 6'4" and around 220lbs. .

One of his problems (as he says) is that he pushes too hard and doesn't know how to be patient. He can't realize that in order to win you don't have to push to your limit 100% of the time... I remember Colin being quoted in '02 as saying that Xaus is a dangerous rider and that he does not like racing on the same track as him.

When i raced cars one of the things i was taught was "To finish first, first you must finish".

xaus reminds me of haga in that neither one of these dudes can ever finish a damn race.

I think Haga is doing pretty good this year. He won one of the races last weekend and was leading the other before his engine blew. He also won the first race of the season.... As for Xaus, well right now his teammate isn't doing all that well either(crashed in the first lap in Le Man taking Abe and Hopkins with him) so for now I am going to blame it on a difficult to ride motorcycle(the only guy who is decent on that bike right now is Capirossi). Also I don't think you can take a wsbk champion and a runner up in that same championship and expect them to "putt" around just so they can finish races in 16-17 place.
