Has anyone got a wiring diagram to build a gear shift light? My rev limiter is a poor substitute....:not

A friend of mine has a shift light on his bike,I will see him this weekend and get some info for you.

I have a DiGi electronic gear indicator on my R1, but it's not a shift indicator. It works perfectly as a gear indicator, though. I could scan a pic if anyone was interested.

Anyway to rig something up like that instead of spending $100.00?

Yeah a picture would be good....:D
