Well, tomorrow I'll be on the track. I'll give a review of how it went whenever I get back. I've got the michilen tires, and a scotts damper on so hopefully I'll be turning some good laps. Then again, its all about the skillz right? It took about 2 hours to get the bike ready, tape the lights, change the oil etc... Kind of sucks but well worth it! http://a9.cpimg.com/image/8B/88/10947979-2ea2-02000180-.jpg http://a0.cpimg.com/image/8C/88/10947980-3d66-02000180-.jpg

No aftermarket plastic, or chrashing shrooms? BTW, change yer coolant for water/water wetter and safety wire the drain plug and filler cap if the track needs it. Also, wear a back protector, not because its a great idea, but many tracks I've been to won't let you on without one. Most of all, enjoy yourself, you'll have loads of fun

Yea, i got frame sliders and swingarm sliders. You just cant see it in the picture. As far as race plastic? Oh well, if it happens it happens. LIke Swedie said, ride within the limits... I've already dropped it once, and then again today! I dropped it while it was on the motorcycle trailer. One of the straps let loose too fast and BAM, over on the right side. FOrtunately, the only damage was a small dent in the exhaust. Not too bad. Lucky me. Couldve broke all the right side plastics easy, but didnt. I'll post some pics and updates tomorrow

Yea, I'll be at Hallett too. We can hook up for some hot laps. I'm leaving Lawton at around 0530 so that should put me into Hallett at around 0730 or 0800. Riders meeting is at 0830 so I'm good. My name is Phil and I'll have the silver R-1 (obviously) and wearing the Green and Silver Joe Rocket Suit. See ya there...:D
