Gawarrior 05-13-2004, 07:45 PM Me and BKR1 are going to hit the Tellico ORV trails on Friday of the Convention on the dirtbikes. Anyone that wants to join us is more than welcome. It is about an hour drive from Fontana. And one awesome place! Probably one, if not the best, places I have taken the dirtbike. So anyone else in with us?
quickshifterGTS 05-24-2004, 12:38 AM think a utility quad would work? :dunno

To be honest you would have a blast on it too. But you might want to have another buddy with you on one also because you would not be able to keep up with the bikes. But if you could work it out you will be glad you did Tellico. It is an awesome place to ride offroad anything:yesnod .
quickshifterGTS 05-24-2004, 08:15 AM i usually keep up nicely with the dirtbike and racing quads around here but our trails are prob a little more dificult to navigate and alot less maintained unfortunatly my firend thats going doesnt have one...damn i need to invest in a dirtbike...looks like so much fun! ive riding alot of the old style (70s) dirtbikes and that scared the crap outa me..ths tires and suspension sucked and i dumped it twice going over rocks which kinda steered me away from dirtbikes, but im def going to invest in one..maybe when i get outa college :riding :dunno

I sold my Big Bear 400 4x4 back in Jan. because I bought the WR426F and never rode the BB anymore. They are a ton of fun. Let me know if you are really want to bring your ATV because I have couple of buddies here that have them also and may bring theirs if someone else does too. Tellico is the best place I have been dirtbiking. But it is really know for 4x4 offroading i.e. jeeps etc. Lots of rock crawling, hill climbing and some awesome river crossings. So just let me know and I will ask around here and see what the interest is.
BTW, are you the one that sent me the check for the food?
quickshifterGTS 05-24-2004, 12:51 PM yeah i am almost positive that im bringing it, and yes check for 45 (3 people) did you recieve it?
Gawarrior 05-24-2004, 01:24 PM Yeah I got it. Thanks! I will see if anyone else wants to bring theirs. I asked one guy and he is not but I know one other guy that might bring his. I'll let you know.

Nah, you will be fine. Not a lot of mud holes. tHe river crossings are rock bottomed and only about 2-3 feet deep at the most. There is a lot of rock crawling and hill climbing. The ATV's I saw last time out there were all stock and were doing fine.
quickshifterGTS 05-24-2004, 07:01 PM sounds awesome! i cant wait...how far away are the trails? i think i read an hour or 2?

They are about an hour from Fontana. We have to go over to the Cherohala and then take dirt road over to Tellico.

Chads I got the yz back and I am extremely happy !The foul a plug at warm up is gone ! and I had a swingarm bearing and head set bearing that had turned funny colors from excessive heat -lack of grease ! I may set the suspension up and hold out on a 4 banger for 2 more years , this thing feelss so much smoother now !:jump :fork
Gawarrior 05-30-2004, 07:22 PM That :rock. And you will get the first test at Tellico:jump in less than 2 weeks:fire. I bet that sucker feels like a brand new bike:yesnod. Keeping it for two more years should be no problem at all. Heck in two more years I might be buying a new 4 banger....nah:lol. Glad to hear you are happy with it. Now we just got to get out and ride em:yesnod :riding
