I am interested in purchasing a pair of the aforementioned boots. I am keenly interested in how they fit and if they are sized correctly (i.e. do they run small, large or right on?).

I got vert 2 air's fit is great, I think there right on, they match my nike shoe size. and I also have some what a wide foot and have no problems. Got mine from www.flatoutmotorcycles.com/store there having a special / gb thing going on them right now.
