Can anyone recommend a rear-wheel stand with which one person can successfully lift and lower an R1?
Thanks

I've got a pit bull stand and it's fairly easy to get the bike on there by yourself.

Pitt bull is by far the best out there. However, there is a site on the internet, I cant remember the web address but search for "Handy Industries" they make some great stands at great prices, I think I paid like $100.00 for both a front and rear stand. The quality is superb and you can't go wrong on the price tag. At least worth looking into.

As far as getting your bike on and off the stand by yourself, it just takes time to get used to it, I do it everyday and have never came close to losing the one...

Just my opinions.....

There is only one 'really' good single person, small, stand it made by a company called ABBA.
EazyRizer make a bigger stronger unit as well.
I have both of them and the quality is very good on both.
