12 pack runs down the gap?

So here is what I'm thinking... We can each drink a 12 pack of Bud Light, and then see who can make the fastest runs down the gap! At night!!!!:beer . It would be sweet, and I think I nominate Chad and Ned to go first:riding

I ride.... and I drink...but I never do both at the same time. Thank goodness I survived the perils of youth to arrive at this advanced state of maturity. We'll leave those tricks to the young and invincible! Speaking of drinking......bourbon if you please!

Yes sir. You are so correct. I would hope that if anyone even thinks about getting on their bike after drinking we would have enough guys to keep them from doing it. The Gap is dangerous enough when you are completely sober.

Didn't he say run? If I was drunk I may be able to make it to the state line before I puked. Sober I doubt I would make it out of the parking lot before I got tired and said F it. I found out when I was in the Army that you can run fster and further when you are drunk. I always took my PT test 3 sheets to the wind.

Yea, I can remember showing up to PT with the ever present smell of alcohol eminating from my pores.... :lol Shoot, it was most of the senior NCO's that were always drunk. Bad influence, alas they eventually got to me too and I became one of those :beer

anyone from R1-Fourm at the Gap now , my daughter has Fastpitch Softball Games this weekend just wondering think i might come up early one morning and ride all day and ride back home. I have pulled this stunt before on my 95zx6rKaw. put in about 500miles that day. what day would be the best to come up and meet some members Fri-day maybe?? any rides set for fri.or thr. thanks rode about 200 miles today took in some national parks Fall Creek Falls state park, Cumberland Caverns,Stone Door,Savage Gulf. had a lot of fun nice weather for riding.

I would say probably Friday. I will be over at the Tellico ORV trails on my dirtbike. But most of the other guys will be there by friday.

Man i got my weekends all mixed up maybe those 200 miles today did have an efect on me. next weekend is the deals gap run man that is good no ball games that weekend first weekend off in 8-weeks for softball games. I have asked this before and i hate to ask again but i hate to search for the post where is the cheapest place to camp? i want to be as close the the Cross Roads Of Time Motel as possible any help will be appricated.

CROT has camping and there is camping in the Joyce Killmer Forest area near the Gap.

Man next weekend sounds great! I may ride up one day this week. It has been about 2 years since i have been up to the Gap. be nice to get a little time in before all you fast guys run off and hide!! It would give me a chance to secure a camping spot.
