Well I got the new Bridgestone DOT 002 race tires for this weekends race. I had used the 001's before. Despite the 001's rep for loosing tread quickly the 002's are not the same. They held up very well. I am very impressed with them. Usually on this track I get quite a bit of slip from tires. This race weekend was great and not 1 slip from the tires. They came up to temp very quickly, and never slipped once. Even managed to improve on my best lap time ever on that track by more than a second, thus putting my into a top 10 finish for the first time ever (and only my second race weekend ever) :jump I am very pleased with these tires and would reccomend them to anyone wanting to try a low cost, great performing DOT race tire.
