I hate old biatches who have nothing better to do but whine and complain about us hard working people who spend money in the local community at Toronto Motorsports Park. They were officially suspended again today because of noise complaints. Even after having db testing in which the ambiant sound of the birds etc was louder than the track roughly 3kms away. Fokkers!!!! All of the coppers/local policitians who say take it to the track should be out there helping us keep the tracks open for public safety. Instead they close the tracks and then have operation drag net to catch street racers. :machinegu :machinegu :boom

I hear ya Mike. I hope they get this all figured out soon. I'm booked for 2 more trackdays there this summer. BTW you're right about the birds chirping, I was told that also when I was at Cayuga on Monday.

If they were smart over there they would close in the grand stands that look over to the drag strip... thats where all the noise is coming from. Throw a sound deadening wall behind them and I bet the complaints would end.

I'm not sure but I thought the complaints were coming from the other direction, towards the town. I think they want them to make that dirt wall higher again, Maybe they should build a fence on top of the dirt wall.

It's all a bunch of bull sh%t. They've been racing there for ever. And most of the people that moved into the area knew that there was a race track there. They just realized the race track is being used alot more now than it was years ago, there was never too much going on at race tracks through the week, and know there is so if they don't like it they should move and let someone who loves motor sports move into their house.:finger So when are we having a day at Shannonville?:rock Cheers Chris.

Old biotch! Last year was the same crap! Threats of shutting the track down due to noise and it looks like it finally happened. What a bunch of bunk! I think some guys on gtamotorcycle.com are planning a "parade" of sorts up and down the street of Cayuga in the coming weeks to show them whiners how bad it COULD be! Anyway....it sucks that the track is temporarily (hoping temporarily) closed. lobo86
