I just looked at the extended forecast and they are calling for rain 6-9 thru 6-12. Is anyone going on a rain or shine basis or better yet has anyone local heard different on the weather?

They are usually between 4 and 6 pm and dont last very long . I wouldnt worry about it to much and I would not EVEN consider not coming ! Have a rain suit and it really wont bother you . :) boxing21 06-05-2004, 02:31 PM Yeah, the forcast looks kind of crummy, but I'll be there no matter what. I'm sure it will be nice for a few dry runs down the gap.:fork quickshifterGTS 06-05-2004, 11:25 PM good thing the forcast is acurate within 1 day or so, unless it says anything over 80% dont go by anything they say this far ahead...o shiet did i jinx it? EXACTLY. PLus like BK when they do a forcast in the summer for anywhere in the southeast it will look exactly like that. There is always a slight chance of a hit or miss shower. But that forcast does NOT mean it will be raining all day. It will be sunny most if not all day each day. If it does rain it is one of those quick summer downpours and it will be over with. You know the kind you can be standing in the sun down street and on the other end of the street it will be pouring. So DON'T worry about that forcast. It is actually good:yesnod. The only way it could be any better is if it said 0% chance of rain. But that is not going to happen in the southeast in the summer.
Heck that forcast has been that way for the past week here at my house and not a drop of rain yet.
So don't worry about it. The Gap will be dry and so will you!
