Hey everyone, I've never bought sliders but now that I'm riding as hard as I am and since I've seen two of my buddies spontaneously drop their bikes (wtf?) I want to buy some...
I checked around and don't recognize the brands... what you think? Mind recommending some sliders to me?
Also, which did you buy... I'm not interested in looking like a 2 wheeled bumper, but I want to protect what I can.
THX!!!

I put yamaha original sliders on mine. Quick & easy fit and don't look to conspicuous.http://www.r6messagenet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=934&stc=1&thumb=1

Shogun, no cutting.
Lockhart - Philips swingarm sliders (from my RC51)
I also have KONICA / MINOLTA sliders (no shit). Their computed radiography machines come with 2 delrin shipping spacers that are precisely the same size as bar-end sliders. They also come with 2 additional ones that are cut along one side, so I used them for engine sliders (experimentally). One goes on the front bolt of the clutch actuator guard, the other goes on the 4:30 bolt on the alternator cover. If I ever use them, I'll tell you guys how they work out.

I use Intuitive Racing "Race" Sliders, bar end sliders, and swingarm spools/sliders.
The cutting is minimal at best....

Do you have a close-up pic of your swingarm spools/sliders? I only have front end frame sliders, adn rear swingarm sppols. Was considering reaer swingarm spool/slider combos, but thought they were too long & would get in the way. Have you had any trouble with that? Do the bar end sliders stop vibration too? Thanks!
