Meet and ride at the Dairy 6/13

This Sunday is looking good weather wise. How about a meet up at Marcus Dairy , Hmmmmm??? Date : Sunday 6/13 Place : Marcus Dairy Time : 10- 10:30am Ride : 10:30 I'll be there about 10-10:15. We shold try and get on the road by 10:30. If you plan on eating get there at least 1/2hr early as there's always a line for eats. I'll park right next to the resturant on the left side(looking at the front of building) near the telephone. I wil be with two friends a Hyabusa and a VFR750. I've been riding up there for a bunch of years and have some great roads to tackle. We'll be going north and west up into Dutchess and Colombia cnty. Get a good nights sleep as its going to be a long ride :jump oh, Im wearing a black Vanson suit Mitch

I have to pass on this one but it definitely sounds like a plan for some other nice weekend... I did manage to get around 200 miles in on Saturday in NW CT :riding

Man had I not just gotten back from Americade , Lake George today, I would love to go, but I just put 500 miles on in like 24 hrs and I am kicked, but definitely any other time.

I thought you CT peeps wanted to get together and do some riding. I was out scouting some fine roads for the last two days to find a good route for our ride Sunday. Oh well. Im still going up to the Dairy and doing this ride so if anyone wants to come out just show up.

Hey none of you guys showed up:( - I got up there around 10:30 ( iwas running late) and ran into a few R1's but no one who was looking to meet up from CT - you guys set up the ride next time :)

Sorry man, I got busy doing technical support for my parents on Sunday morning and next weeked is already busy too :( I hope you at least got in some good riding...

Hey Java, oh I had a great ride. I did 125-150miles of backroads on Sunday. It got to the point that it almost became too much. So if any Ct peeps want to get together post up a thread and ill join in. It would be nice if any locals could lead as they might have more knowledge of the good twisties although I do know quite a few good routes.

I can't believe I missed this post. I was there on Sunday with a few of my Buddies that ride CBR954RR's. We left the Dairy around 11:00 and went down RT 116 into Somers and then took some backroads into Carmel to hit RT 301. Rode 301 down Rt 9 and back a few times, and then up to Bear Mt. It was a great day with great weather. I hope to hook up with some of you guys one day. Thanks, Ray

I figured this would be the best place to post a ride in our area. Too bad you missed it. I've been on those roads you mentioned but they too crowded and are too heavily patroled. If we do this again ill take you north up where its just us, the cows and the twisties.
