Peaceful and quite....until we met some hooligans in a big ass black truck pulling a trailer over the Gap...they were being followed by a red stang and a silver ricer:p . If anybody knows these people tell them the Gap is for two wheels only! Great weekend..it was nice meeting the new guys and seeing all of our old friends again. Made it home about 8:30 PM after taking a little tour through TN to pick up some major fireworks ($250.00 worth) for our big 4th of July party. The rain and hail in North GA sucked big time on the way back to Florida. Pouring buckets while driving through down town Atlanta. Traffic came to a stop 3 times in those stupid construction zones and 1 time for a accident. Other than that, no other problems. I had a great time just like everyone else did. Look forward to next year. Guys, hold off on posting your pictures. I talked to Chad and we decided to make a "Sticky" for everyone to post all the Deal's Gap pictures. It will probably be on the General discussion area of the forum. Let's give Chad a little bit of time to post it up. Hopefully, he will have it up sometime tomorrow.

Well it can't be said enough how much fun it was. I can't wait to do it again soon. The fall rally would be a cool idea. Nice to meet everyone. A great big THANK YOU goes out to everyone that put forth the effort to make this happen. Even though Shanes a punk I still want to personally thank him, Mike, Jerry, and the rest of the guys at McCoys for the prizes as well as the other sponsors that donated to the pot. An individual thank you goes to Darrel at Reflex. You've earned my business when I can come up with an extra "G". Anyone that didn't get a chance to check out the quality of Darrel's work is missed out. If you buy a full set of leathers and don't go through Darrel then you've done a grave injustice. I know I spent a lot of money on a full set of Spidi's and I'm wishing I would have known then what I know now. All is good back home. Those of you that were in Daytona with us that know Steve & Sabrina...He went down on the way up to the Gap. He's ok nothing major at all he walked away from the wreck and his wife drove him to the hospital to get checked out (she was in the car behind him). Broke biggie toe & some road rash on a minor scale where his jacket raised up a little. Our stupid mistake was not wearing our boots. If he would have had his on he wouldn't have but barely a scratch on him. Anyway just an update for those of you that know him.

Originally posted by GXRKLR Steve Kirkendoll (Biker santa) stayed wiht us for a couple of nights. Steve has some nice video's from across the country at dragginpartsvideo.com. This guy is faster on his Gold Wing than alot of us are on our R1's. Ahem......has anyone here seen the ass end of a blue Gold Wing disappearing in the distance?

Originally posted by southern118 i really dont remember rining you but i did get your call i was out riding in colliville at the time. hit me up on a price for a set of stands with 12mm spools for my bike please i have to be at wrok at 130 saturady but i did change my title line <===== Being that you let me stay in the cabin and turned down rent money. Hows $100 for a spooled pair sound? I have the spools for your bike but don't have the bolts so you'll need to find them because I can't find them. :( Ian

killboy sent me a message and said he's waiting on another of his guys to send him the rest of the pictures but that he would try to setup a package deal on his site for the photographs.. something like buy anyshots and get the R1-forum.com b-b-q shots from Ssat. night...
