How do you have a First Annual? Technically, it's just the First. Next year if they hold it again, it becomes the second annual.

Are you going? Trying to get a few buddies to join in. Not sure if we'll ride our bikes though.. I'm sure MD's finest will be swarming around 95 to reach early quotas for the month.

Anacostia Park has some characters out there. A little too crazy for me. We'll hang out for a minute, but that's about it.. Does anyone go out to Haines Point anymore? Last time I was out there we met up with a few people, but it's definintely not like it used to be.

It is going to be the 'biggest show in DC history'. WKYSS FM should get some nice chromed out bikes up there i'd bet...

I thought D.C. Bike fest was held at MIR every year? Did they change it or is this a different event...

It used to be held at the laurel race track. I didn't much care for last years, so I don't think I will be attending.

Did anyone attend this? Just curious to know if it was any good.

Haines Point used to be my spot when I lived in Northern Virginia. And Anocostia Park, right off 295, right before the Fireman traninig Center on the left hand side of 295? But it were too many bike events that weekend to spend $30. B-More Black Tigers had an event at the same time and MIR event was that Sunday as well. As well as Down and Dirty had an event that day. If you went to all events you laid out about $75-90.:dollar :crash As for Haines point, those days are long gone, really miss them. It changed when they started locking folks out of the park after 1pm.:bs Anacostia is ok, but a different vibe. B&N is ok, but also a different vibe. MD needs a few spot to replace Anacostia.
