Meet and ride at the Dairy 6/27

With any luck Sunday should actually be a nice day! Anyone up for meeting around 10:30am in Danbury? Saturday is cool too as long as it doesn't rain :D

So far some bikes from ODFU (http://forums.onedownfiveup.com) are supposed to be meeting in Danbury but no one from here yet :dunno I was thinking about maybe heading up to Lime Rock or Kent but definitely open to route choices :hellobye

Javaknight, I would be there but me and my ride took a spill at pocono thursday so Im out of commision for a few weeks. Its great that your setting up a ride but its a shame I cant make it. Four of us met up and went for a great ride thru Ridgefield and down into Westchester :thumbup Marcus Dairy was PACKED though so meeting somewhere else for the summer might not be a bad idea :eek:

Glad to hear you had a good time :) As an alternative place to meet you might want to try the Duchess Of Danbury 104 Mill Plain Rd, Danbury, CT 06811 (203) 743-7611 I usually stop there for breakfast as its quick and the food is OK and its only 5 mins from the Dairy.

Java, try heading up route 7 and then heading west on rt44 thru Sharon and in that area. rt44 is marked a scenic road by the state and most of them in CT are pretty sparsely populated with cages and full of great scenery and great riding, especially up that way. Same with NY on that side of the CT border. Best bet is to get some county maps for those areas and check them out for some good roads to ride.

Meeting at that Duchess sounds like a good idea. I pass by it every morning :) And Rt 7 north sounds like a great ride just by itself but I'll have to check out 44 as well.. Thanks :thumbup
