I think the enclosed tail piece set-up looks super trick and I'm considering throwing my hard earned money at a Eurobikes GP Undertail w/ the intergrated blinkers.
Any reviews on the ease of installation or the quality
of the product or recommendations of other products.

Thanks, Vertical

I went with the Hot bodies racing undertail and it worked out great,so I would say go with them or Graphic Art Moto Design(Dussault)

I bought the Dussault for 2 reasons.

1. It's the only one out there made with ABS as opposed to fiberglass.

2. It's in Canada and I got it at the bike show instead of having the Hotbodies shipped from the US.

From all my exploring I would agree with Twisted - go with hotbodies or graphic art motodesign.

Thanks for tha advice! I just went on the Hard Bodies, I mean Hot Bodies Web Site:rock and it looks like a quality
piece at a decent price. Do you know a Web site that I can checkout the Dussault piece?

I have the dussault tail and it is great. Everyone that sees it wants to know where I got it. I also talked to Robert Dussault a few times and he seems like a great guy that cares about his products. I am not sure of the prices of the other pieces but the Dussault tail is great. You may want to check out Liberteck for new tail lights. If you want I can send you a picture of the tail on a red 2000 R1.

What year and color is your R1 Vertical? I have one for sale that is blue and looks like the hotbodies one. (actually it's the stock tail, dremeled, sanded than professionally painted with Dupont paint and it's a perfect match) I purchased a Eurotail on ebay and am reluctant to cut up the stock undertail in order to retain the battery tray. I would let it go at a good price with your original (black) undertail on trade.

Let me know if your interested and I'll post some pics.

Hey Sly,
My R1 is blue, but after going on the hotbodiesracing
Web site I will go that direction instead. Thanks!:rock

If you are thinking about buying a custom undertail, I
STRONGLY recommend the Desault :D . I have one installed on mine. The web site is www.graphicartmotodesign.com. They have the exact same piece for cheaper and you get more option on the color of your taillights and turn signals when you order theirs. The service is great and I recieved mine in only a few days because they are located in Canada. I made a mistake with installing my factory taillight bulbs with the undertail and they gladly send me another taillight kit for no charge. I had fun installing the kit and it looks incredibly sharp.
