so I went out of town this weekend. You may think I am a big time city boy but there is a lot of country in this city boys blood. I went to perry florida it is nice up there to visit but couldnt live up there. I could however bring home one of those women up there they sure seem to know how to treat a man. :thumbup

his yard is huge. now my grandfather is 83 and when he moved here 5 years ago he cleared everytree off his property by himself by hand. the propertywas nothing but trees when he bought it.

this is the strongest dog I have ever seen. it jumps on you and grabs around your arm with his front legs and just holds you and if your are sitting he will pin you down.

DWAYNE
07-11-2004, 08:01 PM
my grandfather also built his whole place basically by hand by himself

DWAYNE
07-11-2004, 08:02 PM
may not be the nicest place but he likes it and that is all that counts when you get his age.

DWAYNE
07-11-2004, 08:03 PM
the boat on the left he also built by himself.

DWAYNE

DWAYNE
07-11-2004, 08:09 PM

07-11-2004, 08:31 PM
we caught everything we didnt want to catch including but not limited too. 14 sharks about 1 and a half feet long. 2 trout (which isnt bad) and a bunch of other junk fish. this is very highly redfish country but we only fished for a few hours and didnt catch any.

DWAYNE
07-11-2004, 08:31 PM

DWAYNE

DWAYNE
07-11-2004, 08:33 PM

DWAYNE
07-11-2004, 08:34 PM

DWAYNE
07-11-2004, 08:37 PM
my grandfather's street. now I am warning everyone do not go down this street if you plan on doing anything bad cause my grandfather is a nice guy but dosnt tolerate much and he is very old school and will shoot you. there were even guns stuffed down the side of his recliners just in case. the bathroom even had a double barrel shot gun hanging on the wall. :machinegu :boom

DWAYNE
07-11-2004, 08:38 PM

200 acres up there will run about $200,000 I don't plan on buying that much but that sure is a hell of a deal.

:no It's pretty bad when you miss a big piece of cardboard with a shotgun :machinegu

Looks like a nice area. I miss being able to drive less than 10 minutes and just start shooting.

DWAYNE

the picture is no good but I didnt miss anything about that card board I shot it dead on if it was a turkey it would be very dead right now.

also that is the back yard you can shoot anywhere you want in your own yard and not have to worry about hitting anything that dosnt belong to you.

If this isnt a bother, can you give me a map and is it close to Orlando/ Ocala?

I too want some land (5 acres) and if you say the right estimate, then damn Im there to buy!

I never knew there was anymore cheap land, homesteads prices are rising quickly:fact

Great pics bro:thumbup thanks

DWAYNE

5 acres will run probably about 3-5 thousand an acre but the more you buy the cheaper ity gets. as far as a map do a search on perry, florida

and the women pictures are where?

Voodoo

BTW: Nice picutres. and you talk about his place not being much?:dunno Looks nice, smiple, relaxing, and quiet to me! Sometime it's not the money, it's the joy of building it YOURSELF and knowing that it is done correctly thats makes it worth it. On paper, it's probally worth $100k, to your Grandfather it's priceless!

DWAYNE

right you are! but nowhere near 100k up there you could buy something like that for closer to 50k if not cheaper. But that is how my grandfather likes to live now. He lived in miami for most of his life and then moved to texas then there and he is very happy.
