Anyone using these tire? I heard they are a great track day tire but how do then fair on the street? I live in PA where we do a lot of cold weather riding and wanted to know also if they responded accordingly.

I and a number of the guys I ride with run these tires, all I can say it they are awesome. They are awesome in the dry and hard to spin up in the wet, only with some really hard riding will you get the slightest hint of balling. I had them out on the track recently and they performed really well very easy to feel out and push close to the limit without those little reminders that other tyres like to give. All you have to understand is that they are a reasonably soft tyre and you will not get the miles out of them as you would a harder compound, depending on your riding style you may get as little as 5000Kms (just over 3000 miles), I have for ~6000kms out of mine so far and they are at about 1/3 left. Sooo... Basically if you ride you bike allot, say as daily transport and you need to look after your wallet then a harder tyre may be the choice (Avon etc..etc..) but if you after something to go fast on the weekends and a track day here or then I highly recommend them.

Im only slightly disagrreing with you the rear does wear nominally fast, my front however is on its third rear to 1 front and still going strong...and yes i have pushed it more than once. Not saying your wrong in any way...maybe just my riding style is different as far as Pirelli tires go...I would rather spend the cash than have some tire I dislike on my bike for sake of mileage

What kind of pressures are you running on the street and track?

My front tyre is on its second rear and still going strong.
