Hello,
I will be powder coating my wheels white. and I want to know how to remove the bearings and seals out. After removing the bearings and seals..can I re-use them? Or do I need to get new ones?
What about the installation? I heard that bearings should be put in the freezer for several hours and the wheel heated up. Is this correct. Thanks for any info. I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

jon

OK first,if you are real good you can reuse the bearings but they are cheap enough, just buy new ones. To remove them you just knock the out really,I use a long punch and go through the hub to the oppisite side. To install,do not heat the wheel or put anything in the freezer, all you need is a bearing driver or a socket the same size as the bearing and knock them in.
