Anyone interested in riding next weekend. Finally I'll have a free weekend to ride the local roads. :)

I have no route ideas yet, but there are several spots I have in mind.

211 (it would have to be early), BRP, 56, 60, 810, etc...

This coming weekend is bad for me because I have my 5 year old nephew coming to spend saturday and sunday with me.

Do you ever do any riding after work?

About 11 of us met at Zions Crossroads yesterday and rode down through Buckingham. It turned into a wheelie contest all the way down and back:sneaky.

I heard a few guys in Charlottesville talking about going to VIR at the end of the month. I might tag along just to check it out. If you're interested i'll let you know if I they get something together for a group ride.

The ride too VIR is pretty boring unless you take an interesting route. If want a nice twisty (long) route to get there let me know.

Wheelie contest. Oh well to each there own. It's just not my thing.

Tonight was the first time I've ridden in the evening in what seems like 20 years. I hooked up with another person in the area. Amazingly someone else in the area wears gear.

We rode down to 211, and had way too much fun.

I might be able to meet you Thursday evening if your free.

You have to get down to the Gap with us soon. The roads here are great, but man there unreal there.

Right now Thursday should be open for me. I think they're calling for rain though. I rode in today as well and now I see that they are calling for thunderstorms this evening too.

I definitely would like to check out the gap one day. Did you guys ride down or put the bikes on a trailer? If you ride down then count me in for sure.

Is route 211 the same as Sperryville? If so we were headed that way Sunday evening but we had some newbies in the group that are not ready for those kind of turns. Sperryville is no joke even for the experienced rider.

Be careful down in Sperryville. There really cracking down. Slow in the straights.

Also they just put rumble strips down. However there not in the corners.

I thought about riding in because I get off work at 2:30 on Thurdays. Glad I didn't though. Looks like it might rain at any minute now.

I talked to my sister last night and she is going to bring my nephew up earlier than planned. They want to hit the highway a little sooner because they will probably run into traffic delays on their way up 95 norh to Wash DC tomorrow with the heavy rain expected. So I'm gonna get out there and enjoy as much of this evening as I can:riding.
