Hasn't been done by an R1 yet... There are a few (very few) fast ones out there but not in the Southeast i don't guess...:thumbup
PS -- i dynoed 182 two weeks ago. A ZX10R dynoed 156 that night so it was a pretty accurate dyno. Wonder how my bikes gonna feel with the 13-1 1397 kit, 415/385 Megacycles and the ported head....hahahaha

1longR1 09-16-2004, 12:28 PM My budy got that kit Nuke. he made 215 hp and gps his bike at 202. he put on extensions and ran 9.10 @ out track with shitty air. good track at sea level is like .4 to .5 faster. that was pretty amazing. his goal was 9.50 and he exceeded that. hes spent plenty of $$$ carrillo rods and big bore kit, cams, and valves and porting.
DLB1994 09-16-2004, 01:36 PM me and my brother has the two fastest r1's i know of with all stock engines he run 9.50's with the same setup i have ,but some how he 1.44 60 foot his bike with the same arm and every thing and i run best of a 9.60@141 on motor
i sparyed mine one time on top end to make sure it was working
and ran 9.30's @148 and i didnt even hit it to the top of 3rd gear
and still ran out of gearing on top end
come to the nc/va/md and we got some things that will give you what you looking for :sneaky

You and i would be a good race. I still haven't gone better than a 1.62 60' on that 9.62 run...
I am hopping for 210 for my motor and it should be running in the 8.8 range without issues. But i am not that great of a rider so i will be happy with 9.20's.
I am hoping for a 9.5 tomorrow night in Valdosta.
And i will be putting a 40 shot on top of my big motor..hahaha

i know i can go in 9 teens with what i got on the bottle
and i plan on running in the 50's on motor when i go back i picked up 5whp by changing gas so i think that will get me in the 50's
i been thinking about pulling mine apart this winter but i drive mine on the street all the time so i dont want to be running hot
i have a gsxr 750 with a 907 big bore kit with 13.5:1 comp and i cant drive it no where it runs hot like crazy and it made me buy a r1 and now the r1 is faster and see the track more then the 750
so ill hate to turn my r1 in to the same thing
i have been thinking about putting a t3/t04e on it:thumbup custom every thing my self , i can make every thing my self manifold and all and i got a few turbos laying around, only thing i dont want is a full standalone ecu setup with a bike you cant street tune so the dyno time will be costly:(
ill see how i feel in the winter ill love to have a 350whp at 14psi bike on pump gas
Nukedog 09-16-2004, 06:12 PM Sounds like fun. 350hp on pump gas is gonna be hard on a thin wall motor like the R1. Busa's only get in the 320 range with pump gas/stock bottom end.
That 9.2 bike went 8.8 @ 159 with a good rider on it so 40 shots work well..

It does have a thicker head gasket . And a lockup clutch.
It does have a turbo but you have nitrous .
As far as I know and feel free to correct me but I think it is the quickest and fastest R1 to date .
I don't post the time's anymore because I still grudge race it .
If yours is running 50's on motor alone that is really good .
Mine ran low 60's before the turbo .
1longR1 10-04-2004, 01:09 PM cmon hartley, comparing nitrous bike to a turbo bike isnt even close. i know your on psychobike. look at all bickering trying to even up the SBS field. the nitrous bikes are way behind. my nitrous bike runs good, but no where near my turbo SBS busa. whats your bike dyno at. i think i remeber from emails a year or so back. its cool if u dont want to post it. glad to seee u around and about on r1 forum. if u know anyone that needs a +15 inch over polished swinarm, ig ot one ill sell pretty cheap
bhartley 10-04-2004, 01:24 PM Come on the busa system is a stand alone fuel injection system . State of the art . Mine is a small carb system that don't even have a adjustable boost controller . You can't compair the 2 systems . He just said his was the quickest he had heard of . I just let him know of another . His bike is running great for a NOS setup . Please don't try to compair a 600 horsepower turbo system to a 200 horse turbo system. Not even close . Besides the R1 stock rods won't live very long with very much boost.

Everyone says 340 on the stock Busa rods.
I think I am going to build a good rod and piston R1 motor this winter . They claim you can get 300 horse out of a built turbo R1 motor. I guess I will have to wait to see. Even with 300 horse I don't think you will see a 7 anything on an R1 . I could be wrong .
