Anyone know if SPIDI fits small or large compared to others? I wear a Joe Rocket 42 and I'm looking at getting a SPIDI Slider Wind 1-pc suit. Should I order a size 42 or 44 for SPIDI?

I wear a size 42 in Joe Rocket and Alpinestars gear, so I ordered the size 42 Spidi Hook 2pc. The jacket fits perfect, but the pants could be just a *tad* looser to fit perfect. I ordered a size 44 Alpinestars TZ1 for sizing purposes, and it was way too big in the sleeves and chest area. The pants were so long that my kneesliders were inside of my boots. :lol

If I weighed about 5-10 lbs. less, the pants would fit me perfect! Keep in mind that I like my jacket/suits to fit pretty snug. After the Spidi broke in after a few rides, it's now perfect. http://www.superbikefanatics.com/bike_images/lean11.jpg

Sweet suit! I keep looking at them but the fit worries me. I'm 6'2 - 6'3 and 210 - 220 depending on gym time. Right now I wear a 54 in JR with a 36 pant. I would hate to drop $1200 and not have it fit :no

I have a Alpinestar SMX 2 pcs euro 42 and spidi 1pcs euro44. I think the spidi a a little small in sizing or maybe the difference is coz by 1psc and 2 pcs :dunno Both fits perfect as I try it before purchase. I'm 5'5" and 122lb. Michael:dunno

I had the same worries prior to purchasing my suit, but since I got it from Lockhart Phillips' eBay store for $350, I had to move on it pretty quick. Fortunately, it fit! Based on your measurements, I'd probably try the 46US / 56EURO. From my experience, Joe Rocket suits tend to run larger than the rest. If you can't find a good retailer with a liberal return policy, you may want to order an Alpinestars suit from www.newenough.com *just for sizing purposes* Alpinestars and Spidi gear fits identical to each other!:fact After you get your size right, send the suit back and order the SPIDI. It may take a week or two going this route, but at least you won't have to worry about restocking fees if you have to return/exchange.

That's a good idea! I trust Newenough. That's where I bought my JR Pants & Sidi boots. I may give that a try. Thanks :thumbup

I bought an UnderArmor long sleeve shirt to wear under the suit. The suit slipped on with east. What a difference the right undergarment makes.... I'm now happy with the fit after a full trackday with it yesterday. A friend of mine said his Spidi loosened up quite a bit after some use.

I wear a euro size 52 SPIDI Hook 1pc leather racing suit. I'm about 5'11 and 180lbs. It fits close enough not to flap in the wind.

Just got a size 58 one piece R2 Wind and it's pretty tight up top. To the point where I cant raise my arms above my head or beyond my back sideways. I can't turn at the waist much sideways either. How much will this thing loosen up after some riding?
