One of my local shops are having a sale this weekend. They will be selling SIDI boots at half price. So, I'm definitely going to buy a pair. But you all know how these things work: After the stampede when doors open, all the cool stuff that you wanted will be gone.
My question is as follows: If I can't get SIDI, what other make of boots do you guys recommend?

I'm now the proud owner of a pair of SIDI's. Managed to be at the front of the stampede and walked out with the boots and a smoked visor. Spent the whole day on the bike and must say that the boots are great. thanx for all your input!!!

Which Sidi's did you get? I'm about to sink some money in a pair
of Vertigo Corsa's.

How are the Alpinestar SM-X Plus boots?
Can anyone recommend a boot that's suitable for riding and maybe standing on for a few hours if need be?

the plus ones are better if you do a lot of track days, i'd just go for the sm-x for street riding and the odd trackday. that inner boot on the plus is a pain in the arse to put on and pull off, not worth frigging around with imo. plus its going to be hotter in the summer as your wearing 2 boots!

I have AGV Sport Pro Road Race boots and I have no complaints. They are very comfortable, but I have never crashed in them so I can't say anything about the protection.
