Hi, i have a 02 GSX-R 750 with around 7,500 miles on it, recently when I start the bike after it has set for 20 min or so there is a rattle that seems to be coming from the engine. The rattle goes away after a 5 sec or so, and does not come back in till it sits again. it does not always do this, and it does it more often when the bike has set over night. What do you think it is and how much will it cost to fix? and is it covered by the extend warranty? thanks a lot

Sounds like the cam chain tensioner.

well after I got it back from the dealer and a $150 dollars later, I found a loose spring on the exhaust (2nd pipe from the left) this in turn allowed the header pipe to move around I checked all the bolts and put a new spring on and it seems to have gone a way. Well I have a new cct in the bike now.
