Been searching for awhile figured i would ask.

Just pulled tank from bike, pulled out fuel pump to give it a good cleaning. After re-install, the tank now leaks bad. I looked over the black gasket/o-ring and it looks fine.

I have tried moving gasket around no luck.
This tank is off the bike with no hoses.
Am i missing a step. I verified with other post that i put the fuel pump back together correctly.

I will head to the dealer in the AM for the gasket, which im pretty sure will not be in stock.

My battery tender plug is tied directly to the battery posts and I use the same end on a power wire set up to keep my phone charged up front. Here's my problem my phone will not stay charged lately and I believe is actually being drained.I'm thinking I need to ground directly to the frame vs. the neg batt post.The other problem might be the phone battery is crapping out on me and I havent caught on yet. Although lithium laqst a long time and love to be charged. I'm leaning towards the other solution for the moment.

Basically just looking for some educated opinions to kick around before I start thinking crazy stuff and fixing stuff that isn't broke.

3 questions regarding the installation of my new M4 mid-pipe(Cat. eliminator) that the directions were not specific on...

1) I'm assuming the gasket stays in place when removing the stock pipe/cat. converter and you run it with the new M4 as well?

2) I'm assuming that a person is to ditch the OEM metal heat shield as there is no way to mount it to the new M4, correct?

3) What about the plastic pipe cover that mounts to the back of the RH rear set, does that stay on or is that supposed to be removed?

I did install the A&R race baffle kit into the stock exhaust which I liked but I couldnt keep my eyes off the FMF pipes. I broke down and bought them..





These cans sound and look amazing. I think they look and sound better than any other exhaust out there. I looked at Akra, Graves etc... and I am glad I went with FMF.

Next I have to invest in some rear sets. I am dragging the stock ones and need them moved up a bit more. Plus, gotta flash the ecu and dyno it. Headed to NCBike this weekend.
