Front Suspension

Ok, so I'll be the first to admit I'm suspension dumb, I know when a bike feels good and that's good enough for me. I've got an '09 R1 & I'm about 175 w/o gear... coming out of turns the bike sticks like glue... great feedback from the rear wheel and solid overall. Mid corner she's great once settled down, but it feels like it's pushing a little bit.

I did the zip tie test and come to find, the freaking thing is bottoming out. So I'm guessing that's a huge part of the problem... my only problem is I don't really know where to start just to keep the thing from doing that.

Short of not approaching turn 3 topped out in 5th gear, what dials should be tuned first?

Just had a problem with a C.A. integrated tail light and was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue.I have owned three of these and two were faulty.The first was an 04 R1 and it would intermittantly stop working on half the board for running lights.fixed that one with a little solder and a wire(cracked circuit board) the most recent is on my 07 R1 and it was having the same issue.Pulled it apart and found the problem which was a transistor improperly soldered on one pin.Resoldered the pin and it is working fine again.except for the three hours that I just spent removing the light from the bike,diagnosing/repairing the problem and putting it all back together. Now I tryed contacting Clear Alternatives numerous times and got not so much as a response from them.Has anyone else had problem with this companys products or trying to get them to replace/correct their sub-standard products. I will have to do some research when I get a new bike and need another integrated light,because Clear Alternatives will not likely see another dollar from me!!

RPM gauge works as it should.. but in REVERSE.

Just as the title says guys. Anyone had this problem? My bike is a 99 R1. I just picked this bike up and found that the RPM needle is going in reverse. Any input would be appreciated. I have been searching for a solution but no dice yet.
