I just ordered the braketech rotors. I went with driven as well. Tried to get BPP rear sprocket but Mani didn't have any in stock and i couldn't get any info on availability. I did order the BPP front though. Went with 525. Feel 520 is a bit much for street riding. Next purchase will be EK 3D chain. Then I'm at a loss on what pads to run.

Hey man, got a question for you. Is there anyone you know that has done an actual superbike type build on the 09-14.... mainly interested in motor work, i have a spare motor collecting dust.
    Anyways cheers.

Yes, it makes plenty of sense. Realizing you've done so much to your 06 I figured it may be hard to answer but figured you still had some memory of the days before all the mods. The new 2015 and up are the 1st models that I've cared for since our 06's and the 07-08 years. To be honest, my 06 even exceeds my riding skills as did my 02, lol. Not that I'm that unskilled of a rider but I don't push bikes to the limit like I did when I was younger but I still wouldn't mind having a new 15-16 model if I had the room in my garage. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to answer my question, have a healthy and happy new year!!!

Being your an old timer like myself I wanted to hear from someone that is close to my age and has the same year R1. How do you like the new R1 vs your 06. I'm sure it's much different and better in many ways but after riding the new machine can you still enjoy the old one.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Hey man, I have a question on your 06. Is the carbon fiber yellow? it looks like it has a weird tint to it. If so I was wondering if you have ever seen a red tint style?

Cool beans. It will work on polished or brushed metal as long as it's not anodized or clear coated. It won't work on anything yellow either.

Giddy mate hope you are well. Would you happen to have any pics of the disc side of your original R1LE wheels without the disc? Cheers.
