Hello Guys and gals.
I wanted to share a build I completed earlier this year. I had a customer ask me to graph his 2011 Suzuki Hayabusa Rear subframe and tail fairings. I had to weld the complete subframe and fabricate the attachment points. I also had to relocate the shock mount location and adapt the swings are which was built for the 04-06 R1 chasis. The Hayabusa tail fairing end where it meets the tank was fabricated and molded to fit the body lines. The seat was all that was left to customize and build to fill the gap in the fairings..
All in all it was easy and worked out.
The bike has a full functional air ride rear shock. 300 Rear tire. The swing arm is a custom Ray Rays built out of Ft lauderdale..

Here are some videos of the build in verious stages...
Thanks for watching.

UMMM....I wonder if that guy knows that it is a thing for Busa owners to graph a GSXR 1000 tail section because they absolutely hate the "sick parrot" look of the stock Busa tail!

I understand why he is doing it. It makes that 300 rear tire not look sooo ridiculous with the stock narrow end of the R1 on there. In other words he is giving the R1 a "fat ass"...LMFAO!

The problem I have with his build is not just that he is using the parts off a Busa or extended swinger or the 300 pointless rear tire.....its the simple fact that the roundness of the busa tail does not match or graph well with the sharp edges and lines of the R1 front end.

But I will give him props for creating something different!

I heard their next work of art is going to be a Hayabuser front end, mated to a Smart car rear end....
