Deals Gap and Blood Mountain Group Ride - June 11, 2010, Hosted by Chuck Graves
Deals Gap and Blood Mountain Group Ride - June 11, 2010, Hosted by Chuck Graves of Graves Motorsports
Kennesaw Georgia, May 9, 2010 - All motorcycle riders are invited to Mountain Motorsports in Conyers, Georgia on June 11, 2010 at 11:00 am to attend a group ride hosted by Graves Motorsports owner Chuck Graves!
The "Group Ride" led by legendary racer and team owner Chuck Graves will head out by 12:00 noon from the Conyers, Georgia location and continue to US129 through Blood Mountain, then follow that route to the legendary Deals Gap Dragons Tail roadway! The ride will end at Fontana Village Resort in North Carolina, just miles from Deals Gap, Tennessee.
The morning of the ride, Shane McCoy of Graves Motorsports will lead riders already attending the yearly Yamaha R1-Forum.com and R6-Forum.com Deals Gap Convention to Conyers, Georgia to meet the group at Mountain Motorsports. Once congregated, all of the riders will head out together in one group. "This is a unique opportunity to ride some of the most incredible roads in America, interact with legendary motorcycle race team owner Chuck Graves and attend one of the best organized events for motorcycle riders! We encourage anyone that's a fan of motorcycle riding to join us," says Shane McCoy of Graves Motorsports.
Directly following Friday's group ride, all riders will assemble at Fontana Village Resort to interact and rest up for the following day of riding Deals Gap. Chuck will be on hand the entire weekend to speak with riders and enjoy this epic weekend of motorcycles!
Riders interested in attending are encouraged to sign up by following this link: http://www.r1-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=271880 . The first 100 riders in attendance will be eligible to attend a free Yamaha sponsored dinner banquet and be eligible for prize giveaways on Saturday, June 12th at Fontana Village. Riders will be responsible for their own nightly food + lodging and can contact Fontana Village at www.fontanavillage.com (promo code R1-Forum) to setup lodging. Please review the entire event information on the R1-Forum for daily schedules and rides for the entire week.
